Job Responsibilities
Conduct detailed tests and inspections to ensure advanced painting processes and utilities operate with maximum efficiency.
Lead capacity enhancement initiatives, perform in-depth capacity studies, and manage end-to-end projects, including DOE, RFQ, TA, TE, DAP, installation, and SOP.
Commission DURR and ABB robotic painting applications, optimizing booth designs for superior performance.
Apply lean manufacturing principles, strategic risk management using ROAM analysis, and quality tools like FMEA, 8D, and 7QC to resolve critical issues.
Interpret and review engineering drawings, layouts, diagrams, and technical specifications for process optimization.
Program robots, including offline programming (OLP) and seamless site integration for DURR 3DOnsite and ABB Robot Studio.
Design and troubleshoot PLC systems (Siemens, Mitsubishi) for conveyor, robot, and paint process systems.
Manage HMI and SCADA systems, including Ignition, WinCC, and InTouch, and handle VFD drives (Sinamics G120, SEW, PowerFlex).
Implement Industry 4.0 technologies, IIoT integration, and networking protocols such as Profinet, Profibus, Ethernet TCP/IP, and MQTT.
Develop and execute preventive maintenance strategies, driving initiatives like TPM, TQM, and Kaizen to enhance OEE, reduce downtime, and increase equipment reliability.
Track and analyse project KPIs, deliver high-quality status reports, and lead cross-functional teams to ensure projects are executed on time and within budget.
Work in a paint shop environment, managing 3 Wet Spray Booth 3D ON SITE, Wonderware SCADA applications, 3 wet air supply units, and 3 wet ovens.
Teach and troubleshoot DURR robots, handle conveyor tracking, and program S7-300 PLCs.
Candidate should have experience in Paint Topcoat Booth, Ovens & work area design- Study
Replace and master servo motors, change drives, and service harness cables, atomizers, and dosing pumps.
Maintain robot spares, attend breakdowns, check paint parameters, address colour mismatch issues, and confirm paint temperature and DFT values.
Follow up on concerns, measure 3 wet oven temperatures using data paq, complete robot TEM, and measure air supply unit downdraft and ventures pressure.

Excellent project management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
